While reading the latest news on Yahoo! News I ran into a rather intrusive experience which included a modal popup (aka Y! Shortcuts) and an expandable ad unit, all which blocked the actual news story.
I can live with exapandable ad units but I see little value in Y! Shortcuts as their is either to little or to much information displayed. Yahoo! News needs a serious overhaul if Yahoo! wants to see the property become a starting destination for news stories, including current business news and current health news.
